Hey Paula,
I couldn't help myself and had to share my story with Mechanix Wear. I am a Recon Marine based out of Joliet, IL and was conducting training in California. So there I was manning and about to shoot my .50 cal machine gun for like the 4th time that day. When supposedly a round fired out of battery and caused the gun to malfunction. It basically exploded in the gun itself and in my face. All of the blast and gun powder was extracted through the ejection port where the shells normally come out of when a round is fired. The blast and powder literally peppered my left hand and I probably would have lost some fingers if I wasn't wearing any gloves. I’m wearing the Mechanix Wear M-Pact gloves and I am extremely happy I was. I just want to share my story and thank Mechanix Wear. Let’s just say I bought a new pair of gloves and will continue to use them in training and in Afghanistan where my unit is heading. Thanks again!

(April 25, 2011, 4:02 am) MEXCHANIX, im a platoon leader here in afghanistan. all of my men wear these gloves. the black and white pair. we are a QRF element and when we roll its when things aren't peachy. These gloves have been through it all here with me and my men. Part of our platoon SOP is your MECHANIX gloves. Thanks for making these bombproof gloves.

(May 18, 2011, 7:28 pm) I am an infantry Marine sergeant, i have deployed three times both to Iraq, and Afghanistan. I'm pretty big into gear, and always having to have the newest and best. For my first two deployments i used other brands of glove, namely Blackhawk! or WileyX, both of which did not last an entire deployment and considering that i paid over twice what i paid for my Mechanix gloves i was pretty upset. I wish that i had known better several years ago. I use my third deployment Mechanix gloves for everything...still, almost two years later.

(May 29, 2011, 9:25 pm) MECHANIX, I'm A Infantry Squad Leader in 3/6 KILO USMC, and I have to say i been wearing your gloves since i started my second work-up, My Marines specially my Junior Enlisted Ones always Ask Me, How do you know Mechanix Is Best? specially because since they new to there jobs they see the brands like Blackhawk and Oakley, Well i let then now my past experiences with such brands, 3 Pair of Oakley Gloves Lasted Me 3 and a half months during the 2008 summer in iraq, i got myself 2 pair of blackhawks they lasted me 3 months but they were completely destroy, on my second workup my Mechanix M-Pact 1 pair lasted me 3 and 3 weeks , for my afghanistan deployment i took 3 Mechanix M-Pact witch lasted Me 7Months, basically the whole deployment, i did at least 600 + patrols including Q.R.F'S, AND OPERATING OUT OF LP-OP'S And those 3 pairs lasted me 7 months, on my 3rd work-up 2 pairs of mechanix M-Pact gloves lasted me the whole Work-Up, Now For My Next deployment to Afghanistan Im taking 4 pairs of The New Mechanix, Original Vent cause I'm Going On The Summer Time And Cant wait To Test E'm
